Simba has been successfully able to:

DOG THERAPY

Simba was licensed by Therapy Dogs International (TDI) in 2015. Integration of animal assisted therapy in a clinical setting was first credited in 1962 by Dr. Boris Levinson and published in Mental Hygiene

Since then dogs have been actively involved in successfully treating withdrawn children and those unwilling to communicate. It has been well documented that the presence of animals in therapy lowers anxiety and motivates involvement in the counseling process.

Simba has been very successful as a therapy dog, working in hospitals, senior citizen facilities, and elementary schools where children have enjoyed reading to him.
